Yemeni soldiers take up positions against Houthi fighters on the Saudi border

Saudi offensive against Yemeni Shiite rebels would be continued…epa01923981 An undated handout picture released on 06 November 2009 by the Yemeni Army shows Yemeni soldiers taking position allegedly during clashes with Shiite al-Houthi rebels near the border with Saudi Arabia in the northern Yemeni province of Saada. Saudi Arabia said on 06 November 2009 its offensive against Yemeni Shiite rebels would continue until it had cleared them from its territory after gunmen infiltrated into the kingdom and attacked border guards. The Shiite rebels of Yemen have killed a Saudi security officer and wounded 11 others at the Yemeni-Saudi border. The Shiite al-Houthi rebels accused Saudi Arabia of backing Yemen’s armed forces in the conflict.
